In the last five years Simone Satta has been one of the driving forces of web-magazines Rorschach, the first ever to be distributed by e-mail in Italy, and Comics Code. Very recently he helped launching the new comics website De:Code (with an all-stars cast). In 2005 he won “special mention for humor comics” with the short story “ Il mostro della Laguna Nera” ( Creature from the Black Lagoon) at Torino Comics (one of most important comic convention in Italy). From 1999 he’s a consultant for comic book area in one of the biggest book shops in Sassari (Italy). Actually he’s working as commercial artist and copywriter for an advertising agency and he’s taking a degree in painting at the School of fine arts in Sassari. He’s also working as artist for three different comic projects (two with Antonio Solinas) and as writer for another one. He lives in Sassari.
