Simple Minded Entertainment is an "entertainment vision statement," as a co-creator would have it. We have been producing entertainment slanted material since the winter of 2002. We began by producing a cable public access television program, respectfully entitled Simple Minded Programming, which aired for 2 years, in El Paso Tx, and have since it's termination branched out into other areas, including short film and now comic books.

We plan on publishing 12 different comic books over a 2 year period, releasing one about every 2 months. The comic will consist of about 2 to 4 stories in about every issue. Local El Paso talent and artists will produce the content. We are also asking for anybody, locally, who has experience or is interested in producing content to get in contact with us, either thru here, our website or thru myspace. Local comic book artists, illustrators, writers, or anybody interested in helping put this out there should definitely get in contact with us. The general title for the comic is Simple Minded Anthology presents...,with a sub-title applied to each comic issue. We are and will be looking for more artists to get involved so we can have a hodge-podge of different styles and stories and art presented in each comic...we don't want the series to be done by the same three people over and over...we want to diversify it...get the local talent that’s out there involved. AND IT’S FREE!!! The comic will be available for anybody to pick up for free wherever they see it. We will be publishing the comic out of our own pockets, and from whoever else's talent and pockets are involved, but the comic will be free to the public. So watch out for this…and if you’re interested, know of anybody who could be - a cousin, a friend, whoever, let them know, get the word out - but most importantly, let us know.
