My name is Erika Richardson and I live in the Chicago, IL area. I've been attending comic book conventions for almost 10 years with the hopes of being noticed for my unique abilities.

My goal is to become a sequential artist for Marvel or DC...I don't have any overwhelming aspirations to self-publish and create my own comic (although I have LOTS of ideas and character designs), I just want the opportunity to work with the characters I've grown to love!

I'm also looking into Master's programs of Illustration and Animation at SCAD or MSAD, or even a program in Japan. I want to train in animation and create cartoons that will add to my growing action figure collection!

I'm currently a high school art teacher (and girls' tennis coach) and I freelance on the side and during summers!
