Who´s Sjonny?

Well, he's this comic guy who has been around since the year before the fire was invented...

Nah :) He's been around since Mars.1999 when his first comic appeared in the Icelandic erotic magazine; Bleikt&Blátt (Pink&Blue).
There he spent his time appearing once a month for five years.
Sjonny then spent two months as a daily comic in DV - one of Iceland's newspapers.
Shortly after that he made a leap of faith over to Iceland's only CarMagazine and spent his time there until his maker suffered a burn-out and took some 2years away from comic making.

Now in the beginning of 2007 Sjonny is making a comeback - and this time it's not only that little island in the North that gets to take part in his comeback - NO! This time it's all the world!

My name is Ingi and I'm the maker of Sjonny - You can visit my Icelandic (mixed with english) image-Blogpage at ZinZun.com

I've been working fulltime as an illustrator/comic maker since 1998.
My comics have featured in most of Iceland's biggest magazines/newspapers.

So far - illustrative work has kept the boat floating, but I've had it up to "here" with that kinda work - so now it's time to try to "make it" ...on a bigger scale than before :)

All my work is digital.
I use Wacom Intuos3 and draw mainly in Sketchbook Pro2 and do my coloring and layout in Photoshop7.
