I gots to be honest, man - I didn't love American Born Chinese. I thought it was decent right up until the last segment, but the fantasy and metaphoric elements turning literal just took me right out of the story and kind of ruined it for me. Too bad, really.

And the criss-crossing of the stories was pretty sweet. But yeah, I would've changed that element of it, too. THe first half is just so damned good -- reminds me of the first issues of Bone and the rat creatures sequences.
