Great article on CNN.com!
Congrats on the coverage -- and the great interview on Around Comics a little while back. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on June 6th, 2007 12:19 PM ]

Hi Gail,
I recently picked up the Villians United TPB -- nothing like coming a few hours late to the party, huh? -- and I just wanted to shout a few words of appreciation for some dang fine storytelling. And Dr. Psycho brought copious amounts of laughter to the western foothills of Maine.
So yeah, thanks. A lot. |

RE: new Artists' Resources gallery!
That's a great thing you've got there!
(Too bad I ain't got a lick of talent to take advantage of it but I would've been frickin stoked if I had such a thing available when I was in high school.) |

Damn, man. You need to work harder on this -- I mean, c'mon! Only twenty to thirty major features and improvements in the space of a week? I expect to see some real results and fast.
And to think I pay absolutely nothing for all of this . . . 1 Reply [ Latest posted on February 2nd, 2007 1:06 PM ]

Battles looks ridiculously good! In that vein of Brian Wood's DMZ and his other stuff that I dig so much! 1 Reply [ Latest posted on February 2nd, 2007 4:20 AM ]

Thank you sir! That's the sort of flattery that we live for. I'm putting some more pages up tonight.
I am really enjoying DMZ as well. It's a great book. I haven't had a chance to look at much of his other work really but I'm planning to buy Local when the trade comes out. We will be at Emerald Con in Seattle this spring and so will Brian so with a little luck, I may actually get to meet him. |

Cuisine is brilliant! Do you mind if I use it with my college students when we look at cultural barriers and discuss American Born Chinese? |

Just listened to your interview over with John at Wordballoon and dug the holy hell out of it.
I met you and the original Milestone crew eons ago at Nostalgia Con in the urban mecca that is Bangor, Maine and miss that line of books. I've been loaning my Static, Blood Syndicate and Shadow Cabinet books to my students and they feel the same way.
Here's hopin' to even more McDuffie goodness -- lookin' forward to the FF. 2 Replies [ Latest posted on January 14th, 2007 8:14 PM ]

That convention is probably the single most fun I've ever had. Yay, Bangor! |

Heck, I'm impressed you even remember it.
Marty Nodell's passing this year brought it all flying back to me. I was one of Bruce's gopher boys. I distinctly remember not knowing how to take coffee orders and sitting around watching Lois and Clark with everyone in a hotel lobby.
Thanks for the holler back. |

Congrats on The Night Driver. Moonstone seems to be high on the indie radar right lately, so here's hoping to its success. |

Neglected to heap praise upon praise for your art until . . . wait for it . . . NOW!
Phenomenal stuff! |
