I highly recommend Madison Zine Fest. It was a great one-day con, the people were friendly, the tables were HUGE. Biggest table I've ever had. Also try the Staple Con in Austin (another one-day con), or the Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo in Columbus, OH (in April). Table there is $40 and they expanded it to 2 days now. 2007 will be my first time attending both these conventions, so if you decide not to go I'll report back to you and let ya know if they were good. There's also the Small Press Expo near the DC/Baltimore area, I've never been to that one but I hear it's quite the con. :-)
