My name is Carlos Mangual. I'm a graphic design student going for my Bachelor's Degree at IADT in Tampa, FL. On my spare time, I'm the main guy behind Social Myth Studios, an independent comic-book imprint.

A Self Portrait Comic is my main book. It's a "slice of life" romantic comedy where I chronicle my search for true love. It's a six issue mini-series. I also have a few one-shot specials that come out in-between issues of the mini-series.

If you're a fan of books like Strangers In Paradise, Optic Nerve, Artbabe and American Splendor, you should definitely check out my book!

I've also penciled the first issue of a comic called Heroes Rebored, written by my friend David Arroyo. It's a comedic look at superheroes. (Think Seinfeld with capes.)

I've assisted in the coloring for Tails To Amaze #2 created by Derrick Fish. Click here to find out more about that comic.

I'm also the official letterer for Razor Blade Apple Studios, an independent comic-book imprint started by my friend, Angel Fuentes and his partner Ozzy Fernandez.
