Well, I couldn't get over the whole "using my super-powers to stalk my engaged ex-girlfriend." Superman was wildly unheroic throughout most of the film and exhibited more than a few characteristics of a borderline personality. Thank you, Brian Singer, for destroying an icon!

Not to mention that, ala Margot Kidder, the film versions of Lois Lane continue to be disgusting and entirely unlikeable. She lies to Superman, and she lies to her fiance; she's belligerent; she secretly smokes (??!!?); she excuses her reprehensible behavior as "independence" and tough investigative journalism; and so on. So WHY, you have to wonder, would ANYBODY sane fall for her?
