Ashes to Ashes - religious horror webcomic from Split Lip

Providence, RI - Dec. 14, 2008 - The latest Split Lip horror webcomic, "Ashes to Ashes," has just gone live at the Split Lip website. The 22-page Ashes to Ashes concerns:

A corrupt undertaker - who cheats his poor clients and cremates their bodies to save money instead of incurring the expense a real funeral - has been threatened by a former business partner with exposure. But, as the police come for him, he is saved by divine intervention - The Rapture. Left behind in the charred, post-Rapture world, he comes to religion. But, when he's confronted by the ghosts of those he cheated, will his new faith save him?

Ashes to Ashes was written by Sam Costello and drawn by Anthony Peruzzo, whose story Unconscious Life was featured at DCComics' Zuda a few months ago.

Also at the Split Lip site, we have for sale copies of the two Australian TPBs of Split Lip. The volumes, published by Local Act Comics, each contain about 100 pages of comics from the first 18 Split Lip stories. There are 15 copies of each TPB for sale, and I believe them to be the only ones available in North America. They're for sale for US$15 each, including shipping to the U.S. and Canada.
