Would anyone be willing to split a table at the Comic Fest in Denver this coming April? The current price is still a bit much for me and I would love to attend if I can share a table. Let me know asap. Thanks. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on April 7th, 2009 2:23 PM ]

I hope you were able to connect with someone. I don't know whether Karl got a hold of you, but it sounds like he may get a whole table. You might go to our website and try contacting Michael O'Keefe or Tanya Higgins and see if either has an interest. Jake Roth is another guy you might try, but I don't think there's a link to him on our site, and I'm unsure whether or not I have an e-mail address for him. Let me know if you have any success.
Oh, and maybe you can convince Lonnie to share a table with you -- he's currently not planning on attending, but maybe he can be encouraged to. |

Yep. I'm from the class of '95, myself. Let me know about any Squidworks gatherings since I'm working in a vacuum here in Denver right now.

Not a problem. I'll try to remember to post meeting reminders here on Comic Space as well. I've only been e-mailing them out and I have to admit that I've been lax about checking into this account. If you'd like to make sure to get the updates go to our website at www.squidworks.com and click on "Contact Us" to have me add you to our e-mail list. ~Stan Yan |

Hi Squiddy,
We Denverites gotta stick together. Yeah, I know I'm in Greeality now but I lived in Denver for 20 years so that still counts don't it? Anyway, thanks for dropping in.

Ah, once a Denverite, always a Denverite. We've got a few folks in our catalog that used to live here that moved away. But, if you're ever in this neck o' the woods on a second Sunday of the month, stop by our monthly meeting at Common Grounds (32nd & Lowell) |

Yeah, I like to think that the Squid Works is a group that brings creators in Colorado together. We have monthly meetings every second Sunday of the month at Common Grounds at 32nd and Lowell in Denver. I'd like to extend an open invitation to you if you would like to attend. You can see upcoming meetings and other events our members are involved in at www.squidworks.com/events.html |

There's no shame in admitting that -- seems everyone who has lived here has some of Colorado in their hearts no matter where they move. |
