Header: Squid Works Meeting - this Sunday
Bulletin: Apologies for those of you outside of the Colorado area for including you on this message unnecessarily.

This is a friendly reminder that our next Squid Works meeting is next Sunday, February 8th from 1 - 4 pm, there's a Squid Works meeting scheduled at Enchanted Grounds at 8800 S. Colorado Blvd. in Highlands Ranch. Sadly, I won't be able to attend, as I'll be in New York for the New York Comic Con, so tell all of your NYC friends to visit my booth in Artist Alley, table J1 (Brendan Wenberg will be at L1), for the fresh-off-the-presses SubCulture: The TPB . There is no official steering committee meeting at noon, but I would suggest that Al and Craig get there early to discuss domain ownership issues and the importance of getting that squared away (I believe my desire to leave Comcast as a service provider kinds of hinges on this). We also have a vote in progress on the forums about the printer we're going to use for the 24 Hour Comics book.

So, our agenda:

1) For those of you wanting to partipate in any of our programming or propose programming for the upcoming Opus Fantasy Arts Festival on March 13th - 16th and hasn't spoken to me about it, it's really getting almost too late to do so, as I needed to submit the
programming forms by last Sunday. Still, you can try forwarding them to me and I'll do what I can. More info on the forum thread here: http://www.squidworks.com/forums/index.php?topic=596.0

2) For those of you who I haven't talked to about Starfest that would like to share table space with us either in the horror room or in the comics room, let me know. I don't know how big each table is, but I'm told they're $95 each. We already have enough folks interested that I'm guessing we'll do more than one table even if we're just in one room. Zac, Robert and Brendan have confirmed interest. I'd like to know if Josh or Ozzy want to also get in on rotation at the zombicatures booth (Robert, Brendan and I will likely run it at this juncture). I'm open to having another table or two in the comics room if those of you not selling horror stuff want a place to set up. Please let me know asap.

3) For those of you who have books to sell and original artwork you'd be willing to frame and hang, check out this thread:
http://www.squidworks.com/forums/index.php?topic=631.0. I don't know how much room we'll have, but this might be a great
venue for launching the 24 Hour Comics People II: Dead By Dawn anthology for those of you who contributed stories to that book. Just let me know of your interest. It may be curated if we have more entries than space, but don't let that scare you off.

4) Last, but definitely not least is the quarterly catalog update. Right now the only new books in the hopper for our coming update is 24 Hour Comics People II: Dead By Dawn and an update on the release of SubCulture: The TPB. Please let me know no later than the weekend of the meeting whether or not you have something new for the update, as I need to get the materials put together and shipped by end of month.

Thanks!
