UPDATE - 6/10/08 - A few months ago I left Dutton Children's Books to become an Editor in the Entertainment Publishing Division of The Topps Company (yes, the baseball card place). We do cards based on TV and movie properties like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, and many others (remember Garbage Pail Kids? We do that too). Right now I'm working on cards for the new season of Heroes, as well as World Wrestling Entertainment cards.

How's it going?

Okay, a little about me. Currently I am the Associate Managing Editor for Dutton Children's Books. We just finished working on our first original graphic novel called Dead High Yearbook, which will be on sale early this year. You can read a little bit about it by clicking here. It features work by some of today's hottest independent comic creators, including Wilson Ramos, whose page you can check out right here.

Previously I was the Editor for CPM Manga which published some pretty cool titles like the awesome Hard Boiled Angel and Nambul: War Stories. You can check out the entire first volume of HBA right here.

I am also currently a contributing columnist at the Sequart Research & Literacy Organization where I've been working on a really in depth examination of the early Valiant comics. C'mon, you know you want to read it. In fact, you should be checking out Sequart anyway because it happens to be a kick ass site that's filled with information and opinions that you want...nay...NEED to know about.

I've been published in various magazines, the most recent of which is Danny Fingeroth's Write Now! #13. Go to your comic shop and buy a copy or three.

And finally, I am also an independent filmmaker that has worked on a bunch of things that you definitely have not heard of. I co-founded a film production company called Section B Films, and you can check out a mostly silent rough cut of one of my projects right here. (Now with a link that actually works!)
