We plan to premiere the new issues in New York, but will have it available in store 2 weeks early. Timing is everything, and we wanted to kick off Rude Dude with NEXUS, so our first book will be out as a Free Comic Book Day comic, Nexus #99-102 will run July-October. November brings Amazing Dude Tales, and then, finally, the Moth will ring in 2008. We hope to keep that as a yearly schedule. Sorry we can't have it out any sooner, but if you're signed up for Dude News we'll be giving you information for definite release dates and letting you know when sneak peaks are available on the website. Thanks for the add. Good lord! Nexus! It's funny, I remember seeing him when I was younger, and always wanting to read an issue, but I could never find it in my comic shops. I think he is due for a return. I must now go and look for a nexus collection.

You truly are the DUDE! Your stuff was very inspirational to me in college--when I first discovered Nexus! Really incredible stuff. I'm blown away by the way you tread a line between Kirby and Loomis--two of my favorite illustrators, but waaaay different types of artists. Keep 'em comin'! I want a Nexus cartoon!

If you put "interview request" or "for Steve Rude", etc in the subject. Something that stands out then you should get through. Usually if it just says "hi" or something like that then I'll just delete it rather than risk a virus. Also, if there's no subject it gets deleted. Press can email directly to press@rudedudeproductions.com. That isn't filtered and always gets through. Thanks, Jaynelle Rude Rude Dude Productions.
