Hey! We met at the Milwaukee Museum when the Masters of American Comics exhibit was tumbling on through; I just wanted to say thanks for the support and encouragement, and to say I'm still alive and kicking in the comics world, and whatever happens to me in the future of comics, it's all your fault.

I was wondering if it was THE Steve Rude, or if it was somebody's joke. Anyway, I wanted to say that I tried out for the inking contest you had back in Wizard Magazine years ago - it really got me into inking. Now I can't work without inking my stuff. I just wanted to say thanks, Mr. Rude; it gave me a kick in the pants and helped motivate me to become a better cartoonist.
