I'm a freelance colorist developing original properties as comics for print and the web, where I am artist, writer, letterer, etceterer. I'm also working on animating some of my stories in flash, having worked in the program for almost 7 years, and will be posting the results soon. I think a lot can be done by one or a few people with the program and it's a great way to "sell" stories.

Read The Waiting Room

With the shifting, crossing realities of parallel universes, there are bound to be mistakes. Deaths meant for people on one plane can, at times, end the lives of people on another when they slip through the seams of reality. This makes processing their journeys to the next life complicated to say the least. Until these "glitches" are cleared up, and the deaths rightfully assigned or resolved, the victims pass time in the Waiting Room, reflecting and learning as their new shells await. The bureaucracy of this afterlife is run by the efficient and ever-banal Saul Terth.

My art is completely digital but mainly influenced by traditional artists. I think digital art has become photo referenced to death and has no real soul for the most part, so i'm trying to bridge the gap as best I can and form my own unique style. I act as the writer and artist for my book. you might not see the influence of these artist and writers i'll list but they stand as the best from the medium to me.

My favorite serial artists are: Will Eisner(my favorite), Enki Bilal, Barry Windsor Smith, Walt Simonson, Sal Buscema, Mike Mignola, Edvin Biukovic(R.I.P.), Bill Sienkiewicz, Simon Bizley, and Paul Pope.

My favorite colorist is Lynn Varley, I also like Steve Firchow's work quite a bit and Hyung Tae Kim is my current favorite digital colorist.

My favorite writers are Frank Miller, Brian Vaughan, B. Clay Moore, Rick Remender, Neil Gaiman, and Bendis.

My portfolio of published coloring work can be found here:

Nice work - soft lines and shades juxtaposed against hard characters and rough times - that conflict just kicks the story up a notch higher than it already is - too sweet - thanks for posting!

Thanks for the add man and I am interested about The waiting room. I really want to hear the compelete story and some relative ideas if it is not going to bother you. I might be suggesting some minor ideas if you don't take it as a sign of arragonce of course forget the all thing if you don't want a stranger to intefere your work :D

Not to be too shameless, but I'd like to point you to my current comic Dusk - http://dusk.ambrosiapublishing.com/. I'm honestly looking for good solid feedback on the story. I'm even willing to make trades for reviews and/or exposure. I'd be willing to do link swaps or even write a script in trade.

Hi there! We’re starting up this year’s Small Press Idol…and wanted to invite you to the grand unveiling of this year’s Guidelines. I apologize for the all-in-one nature of this. At this time, individuals and teams have a little over a month to get things together and be ready to post their Round 1 entries. Round 1 will last till March 25th. It’s a solid window to get a project together and qualified for Round 2 past our judge panel. If you are interested in being a contestant, this is fair warning to get a project going!
If you are a news outlet or resource of any sort, we invite you to help spread the word about Small Press Idol, and get on the official Sponsors and Supporters list on the Idol Main Page. Traditionally, the page has gotten hundreds of thousands of hits a month for the 5 months the contest runs. All we ask in return for the link placement on our prominently placed list, is a link back in some way that is fairly prominent, and that you indeed cover the contest if you are a news site. You can contact us about that right from the guidelines page.
Just want to watch the show? That’s great! Now is time to sign up at the site so you can VOTE in the rounds to come, and post comments about your favorites! We’re expecting hundreds of contestants this year. It should be a lot of fun!

Hope this message reaches you in the spirit it was intended, you are welcome to ask questions, and otherwise make sure this is for real. This is the fourth year for the SPI. Last year’s contest pages are still online. So that’s what this is about, hope it interests you!

Really nice work. You make the digital look very fluid and alive. Almost a watercolor/painterly approach. Very impressive.
