| Bulletin: | ![]() I will be in San Francisco THIS WEEKEND (April 21 - 22) at the"Alternative Press Expo, taking place on April 21st - 22nd at the Concourse, 620 7th Street. I'll be in the midst of a veritable ghetto of queer cartoonists, including: Tim Fish, Justin Hall, Cathy Camper, Robert Kirby, Bill Roundy, Monica Gallagher, Brett Hopkins, Tim Piotrowski, and Richard Ruane. Also in attendance but outside the ghetto are Prism Comics, Brad Rader, and Paige Braddock. APE is definitely the queerest comics festival I've attended, and well worth the trip down if you're close to SF. I'll have a bunch of stuff for sale, including a new 24 page mini called UNPACKING, a few remaining copies of a 2001 silk-screened mini called YOU CAN TELL US ANYTHING, various art prints and greeting cards, and of course, copies of STICKY and SHIRTLIFTER. There are also a variety of queer-centric comics events occuring on the weekend as well, including a comics reading on Saturday night and a queer cartoonists panel on Sunday.
