A writer of comics (among other things) for far more years than I care to think about, I've written for virtually every major company since 1978. I'm probably best known for the Punisher mini-series and subsequent graphic novel Return To Big Nothing, but have left dozens of projects in my wake, from Whisper to Challengers Of The Unknown to X-Man, My Flesh Is Cool, X, etc. (And Damned, of course.) I also write a weekly column, Permanent Damage, at Comic Book Resources (http://damage.comicbookresources.com). Odds are if you've read comics for any length of time, you've read my work whether you know it or not.

My first ever letter to a comic was printed in the back of X, I think around issue 11 or 12. Thanks for such an awesome book. I wish Dark Horse would bring him back.
