StevenMenszer
Steven Menszer is, unfortunately, Jewish, but we will not hold this against him.
A four-time drop-out, he is an overachiever in his underachieving. Getting through school settings with only a G.E.D. under his belt, he realized the structured world did not suit him, and took it apon himself to self-teach everything he knows. He has been a comic nerd since before he could read, buying X-Men titles off the rack of his local comic shop only to look at the pretty pictures. When he reached that awkward stage of puberty, he was left to decide which was more important: comics or girls. The latter obviously won. However, when he made it to high school, he rediscovered sequential art through DC's Vertigo brand, namely with Transmetropolitan and Preacher. Though he has not published anything yet, you can find various things he's written on various websites. He has over thirty projects in various stages of development, some of which can be found on the website of the studio he works with, Enemy One. By day, he is one of those annoying non-commissioned salesmen at an electronic store who makes a living on being a geek. By night, he is the mad-bomber writer, slamming his fists into the keyboard in hopes that he'll create something worthwhile, artsy, or at least "not poopy." When not at work, counting his pennies, spending time with his fiancée, or making poop jokes, he is trying to write stories and narratives that "make you think." At only twenty-years-old, his goal is to change the world with the written word--He is a dreamer. He is currently working on Jukebox Hero with Joe Eisma, as well as a graphic novel with Adam Geen and another project with his long-time friend Gavin Guidry. |
