I co-founded and used to run a record label here in Athens called Kindercore Records and played in a ton of bands including Kincaid, The Sunshine Fix, The Weight, The Four Corners and The Agenda. After spending most of my late teens through 20s touring, recording and running the label it kind of ended when a bad business partnership with a distributor made the label implode. Kindercore was home to Of Montreal, I am the World Trade Center, Dressy Bessy, The Essex Green, Call and Response, The Agenda, The Four Corners, Kincaid, Maserati, Paper Lions, Jet By Day, Kings of Convenience, Birdie, Etienne Charry and a bunch of others.

After the label ended I started working as a graphic designer at the Athens Banner-Herald (our daily newspaper) and went on to become one half of our Marketing Department as well as a freelance entertainment columnist.

I now live in a radtacular A-Frame in the woods with my even more radtacular wife Priscilla, a chihuahua named Mr President, a terrier named Kobe (we didn't name her, seriously), a gynormous cat named Josie, a three legged cat named Three Legs (creative huh?) and a skittish ninja cat named Roo (who we also did not name).

I have been a comic book fan for most of my life but stopped reading them during my music years for lack of funds and because most of the mainstream stuff coming out in the 90's was craptastic. About a year ago I started reading and collecting again and am a Mighty Marvellite through and through. I also enjoy good indie stuff and am now starting to work on putting together an anthology comic with my brothers and some illustrator friends.

If you are still reading this you need to get a job. Or at least do work at the job you have instead of wasting company time on the interweb like I am currently doing. Seriously, they don't pay you to read about dudes from Georgia. Or do they?
