Some years ago Cary and I decided to bring our love to comics to the next level and started a comic book publishing company called PAPER DRAGONZ. http://www.paperdragonz.com. Between all the hectic things life tosses at us we always find time for comics! I deal with the business end as President/CEO and my husband Cary Kelley, is our amazing Art Director, writer, letterer, jack of all trades. We also have Steven Forbes as are E.I.C.

Paper Dragonz will be putting out a couple of great books this year, so keep your eyes out for these titles, they rock! Cary Kelley, finding time between writing his novel and comics excels as our Art Director and we have the one and only Llama, the resident ball buster, the get it done man, our EIC Steven Forbes.

"Fallen Justice"
What happens when the most powerful hero in the world finds out he's dying? Villains and heroes alike tremble in this dark tale of the gray areas between right and wrong, vengeance and justice. "Fallen Justice" written by Cary Kelley and Steve Forbes with the amazing pencils of Harold Edge!

"Bullet Time"
When Mira is widowed her world comes crashing down around her. Things get even worse when her husband's ghost returns intent upon her avenging his brutal murder. A story of love, loss, revenge, and release, where time is measured in the space between a gunshot and a victim's last breath. "BULLET TIME", written by Steven Forbes and brought to life by the incredible art of Dave Simons!

"Sins of the Father"
Robert Seguin's mother killed herself when he was very young, and his father was committed to a mental hospital, leaving him with no training or knowledge of his special abilities and heritage. As an adult Robert begins having violent dreams. Robert is forced to face the past and come to terms with his animal nature before it takes control and he loses his human side forever.

"Sinn Fein"
An 88 page epic written and illustrated by Geoff Mosse detailing a visit to America by one of the leading members of the Irish organization in the 1940s. When Sean Doyle arrives, all is not as it should be, and he finds enemies around every turn. A gripping tale set against a historical backdrop and based on actual events, Sinn Fein will be talked about for years!

"Other News"
After our strong showing in the 06 Idol contest the Kansas Hit team is back with more energy and bringing a brand new title to this year's contest! This time around we're doing Totem, a book about werewolves, ancient power, and the effects power has on those who gain it. We have already moved into Round 2 of the contest and are looking to make a strong run at this thing yet again, so come check us out and help Totem bring home the prize!

A hero who knows he's going to die eh, that ought to be something for me to check out then. Read Steve Niles's stuff life 30 Days of Night, or something like Criminal Macabre. Something else thats good is Clive Barker and Neil Gaiman stuff. But anyway, good to hear things are going well and your keeping busy. Well, talk to you later.

Hi David,
Thing's are going well!! Busy doesn't begin to cover it but Cary and I are having a blast!
Lets see .. comics give us heroes, something we lack in today's society (not saying there aren't any but...), comics also allow us a place to escape, just for a wee bit from reality, and who doesn't need that every once in a while lol, I know I do!
I like that today's comics appeal to a broader audiences than comics of old, outside the traditional young male. Right now I'm personally hooked on wolverine, have been for years though! Not to sound bias but I also am pretty into a title we have coming out. My husband came up with this cool idea and went with it. Fallen Justice without a doubt has my attention. A hero who finds out he's going to die and doesn't act like the typical hero, not your normal hero vs. villain comic and I think that's cool.
I love Sci-Fi in any shape or form, always have and always will. I like horror too but I can't find any that grab me, suggestions?
