Svenska Superserier (Swedish Supercomics) is a print fanzine for superhero, supernatural, fantasy and science fiction comics.
It was started in 2004 after the then current swedish Marvel editor made an open call for swedish creators and super heroes.
This means that this is our fifth year which is really something of an accomplishment in the fanzine world.

Since then nine issues have been published featuring 24 different comics by 29 different creators. The eight issue was released in april and the ninth issue was released this month.
The ninth issue is our first all-horror-issue and won best of show at Sweden's Small Press Expo 09 last month!

Svenska Superserier is always looking for new swedish creators who have stories that fit our profile or who wants to work with us.

Issue 5 featured an interview with The Portent's swedish creator Peter Bergting, issue 6 has an interview with Patrick Liu, one of the creators of The Darkness video game and issue 9 featured an homage to Stefan Nagy, one of the most well known of swedish comics creators who passed away last year.
