I could write an extensive autobiography, but who would read it and what would they learn from it. Let's see how true it is that you can learn a lot about a person by looking at the inside of their bags.

My bag on thurseday july 19 2007
I'm afraid my bag is not very full. All there's in it is a red sketchbook (A4), with a painting of two little girls under an umbrella on the cover, a metal pencilcase with pens of different thicknesses and mechanical pencils (HB and 2H), a book (Fellowship of the Ring), a diary, a wallet and a passport. Oh, and a normal writing pen floating around somewhere on the bottom. I wonder what you can learn from this... except that I like drawing, but one look at my gallery here and I hope you would already have noticed that ^^;

My bag on sunday march 11 2007
Ah, the first thing I notice are my basic drawing materials: two mechanical pencils of 2b and 2h, a box with pencils of all other hardnesses, three drawing pens, two erasers (hard and soft), a sharpener, a ruler and of course an empty booklet to draw in.
I also carry a few books, "Schindler's List", "Graded go problems, book 3", "1984", "Doelgericht Leven", "Stress and Rescue" (+ dvd). Besides that I also carry an A4 pad with notes from an interview I did last thurseday, my passport, some pens, a bread box (empty) and an episode of the magazine "Bionieuws".
Oh, and a little plastic bag with little pieces of cloth.

Now you can try and deduce my hobbies and interests from there yourselves, it would be an interesting experiment. Good luck!

Letter to JPP

"What should I put in the accompanying letter?" I thought when I was about to send an application to the Japanese Prizewinners Programme (JPP).

Letter to Santa Claus Jump to External Web Site

Some people draw their own christmas cards. The year before last I felt like drawing a christmas comic. I didn't add the front and back of the booklet I send around to friends and family, but I did add the English translation ^^
