Bodega Ave. is a ridiculous satire about pre-teens in Brooklyn growing up weird and out of place in the world amidst a neighborhood of dredlocks, braids, and jewfros. For those of you, who’ve ever felt the same way this is the place for you.

But the pay is lousy (so far) and it's mostly been in small press (Have YOU heard of Elder signs magazine?) of all things a substitute art teacher I had in high school became a good friend of mine and he ended up publishing. all small time stuff. I think I got paid a whole 5 bucks for my first illustrating job back in '97. I went for a percentage of the profit...OOPS! But it's a labour of love. Who knows, with this site, we may all be discovered! Wouldn't that be something.
