![]() ![]() Here's a close-up of one of the panels from page 025 of Beyond Neverwonder. This is where I introduced some new characters. Chesh decides to "cut the deck" as it were, joined by Jincha, one of the pixies. See the larger version in the Tekitscribbles! gallery Enjoy! ![]() ![]() I was born on March 23, 1976 in Kailua, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. My family lived in Hawaii until I was 3 years old, then we relocated to Utah, where I basically lived for a majority of my life. In 1995, I served for two years as a missionary in Quezon City, Philippines. While there, I did learn their official language, Tagalog (though I'm horrible at it today... not much use for Tagalog in "normal" life back in the States). In recent years, I've lived in a variety of places, going from Utah to places like Chicago, Los Angeles and Kansas City. Some of the things I like to do include the following: writing, drawing, watching anime, using computers, listening to music... stuff like that. As for my net activities, I've been involved in a wide variety of things. I'm the graphic designer and webmaster for Elfquest.com, the official website of Warp Graphics, the publishers of the Elfquest comics series. I also do some Elfquest-based storywriting/roleplaying with some of my friends on America Online. ![]() In addition to my webmastering and designing for Elfquest.com, I was also the colorist for the first three volumes of the European release of Elfquest: Dreamtime through Carlsen Comics. (My only claim to fame, really. Not a bad one at that too.) It was my first major comics project and I'm glad to have been able to be a small part of bringing a part of the Elfquest universe to life. But, hey! With art drawn by Wendy Pini, how can you go wrong, ne? :) In my alternate life, I'm a graphic designer looking for work and looking to go back to school to finish up my Bachelor's degree. When playing in the freelance arena, I do work as a graphic/layout designer and web producer. If you'd like to see some of the stuff I've done, take a look at my design portfolio at portfolio.skyfall.com. One of my latest projects has been to lend my services to the fine group of folks for the Voices For Peace album, a CD chocked full of some excellent tunes by some of the biggest U.S. anime voice actors... to lend our "voices" for the end of war everywhere and let peace rule. I was able to help design and host the V4 website, lend some assists in the production of the CDs and I was even able to provide backing vocals for the song War featuring the most excellent Brittney Karbowski. And, all the proceeds from the album go to some great charities. Check out the V4 site at voicesfor.org. Buy an album! The latest project, Beyond Neverwonder, is an attempt to practice my drawing skills after not having drawn much of anything serious in over 10 years. I'm an artistic hack, but I'm a well-meaning artistic hack. :) I hope that my trip through Neverwonder will be a successful one and that my art skills will improve. Only time will tell... Thanks for joining me on the journey. :) ![]() ![]() For good or ill, here's some of the places that I may end up showing up at this year: Upcoming Events: ![]() San Diego Comic Con San Diego Convention Center San Diego, CA July 24-25, 2008 ![]() Anime Banzai Sheraton City Center Salt Lake City, UT October 24-25, 2008 ![]() Previous Events: Ohayocon 2007 San Diego Comic-Con tekitsune's BulletinsDisplaying 1-10 of 17 bulletins...
