A great gallery - really fantastic looking stuff, and a great concept. Takes familliar storytelling elements from pulp and superhero stories, but gives them a context and concept that I've never seen before and makes it all feel very fresh and exciting. Awesome work!

Hey Ben, thanks for the add! I was one of the lucky ones who picked up The Black Coat #1 before it sold out at my indie friendly comic shop. I think it's one of the best comics on the market, indie or otherwise.I can't imagine anyone passing this comic up.

Hi there! We’re starting up this year’s Small Press Idol…and wanted to invite you to the grand unveiling of this year’s Guidelines. I apologize for the all-in-one nature of this. At this time, individuals and teams have a little over a month to get things together and be ready to post their Round 1 entries. Round 1 will last till March 25th. It’s a solid window to get a project together and qualified for Round 2 past our judge panel. If you are interested in being a contestant, this is fair warning to get a project going!
If you are a news outlet or resource of any sort, we invite you to help spread the word about Small Press Idol, and get on the official Sponsors and Supporters list on the Idol Main Page. Traditionally, the page has gotten hundreds of thousands of hits a month for the 5 months the contest runs. I really enjoyed the Black Coat mini-series. Things were hectic, but I was able to pick up the set in Chicago at Wizard World. You guys were swamped at the APE booth. Congrats on the success and I look forward to your next voyage.
