I grew up reading X-Men and other horrible superhero garbage. I completely stopped reading comic books for about 5 years until I found the world of alternative/independent/underground (whatever you want to call it) comix.

I started making mini-comix to amuse myself and my friends in the summer of 2003 after recently discovering the wonderful work of Peter Bagge, Joe Matt, Adrian Tomine, Ivan Brunetti and Dan Clowes. Up until this point I had no idea that comics like this existed.

My mini is called "The Daily Compulsion" because we all have many things that we are compelled to do every single day of our lives. A lot of these things are done without even thinking about them and what they mean. Comix is one of my many daily compulsions, and if you're reading this, it's prolly one of your's too.
