I was just trying to create a comic that reminded me of all the fun I had as a kid when I first started reading comics back in the (gasp!) 70's and from growing up watching those cool old 50's/60's style creature feature movies like "Invaders from Mars", "Earth vs The Flying Saucers", "Monster Beach Party", etc, on shows like Chiller Theater, Creature Features, and the old "4:30 Movie" program. I wanted GAAK to be that kind of fun.
