EXCELLENT drawings. Your transformers comic looks amazing and so does all of ur other work.
Also, i was wondering, how do u get ur pencil drawings to appear so clear when u scan and upload them

Well, first of all I tried to be really clean in my pencils so I use a 2h for my roughs and then over the top of that a HB. Then I scan my pages at 300 dpi on grayscale after that I fix the pages with the options Level or with Brightness/Contrast in Photoshop. Thanks and keep drawing! Ivan

Also, i have added a few drawings into my gallery. They are a bit hard to see becuase i had to take pictures of them with my phone. As soon as a figure out how to work my scanner, i will post better quality ones.

Before I learned FLASH (as I know it now), I made The SYMBOL animation, without ANY understand about file SIZE and the importance of keeping things as small as possible. Each image I was importing into the animation just kept adding TOO much to the overall megs of the animation, so I just decided to keep it to myself. I'll tell you what, I'll upload just 1 3-minute sequence of action the send the link to you. It's one of my favorites. I'll get back to you when it's uploaded. I hope you have a fast connection (cable or DSL). Otherwise, you're going to waiting a LONG time for the animation to play.

i love the character, but the main thing i dont like about the web comic was that the backgrounds looked 3d.

The backgrounds were/are made in a 3D modeling program (Vue D' Esprit) and I purposely incorporated "that" style of background in the web comic, because I could never draw them to look as "real" as the way Vue creates them. Besides, in 2002, I built a 3D city for The SYMBOl's animation and it's just simpler to navigate through it and capture the perfect angle of a building to use for a specific scene in the web comic. when u use photoshop, is there a way to get rid of the paper background when i scan my image so i can just paint bucket my drawings. Also, is there a way to edit the image so the blackening i did with ink will appear as a solid black color. One more thing, can i do this with gimp.

what do u use to ink your drawings. I use a caligraphy pen. it works fine but i wanted to know what u use. Also, are u doing ink wash to ink your comics into grayscale look. I am mainly talking about your "legend of joe moon" comic
