On November 16-18, Mike Carbonaro will present the 2007 NATIONAL BIG APPLE COMIC BOOK, ART, TOY, & SCI-FI EXPO. This three-day, annual event, now in its 11th year, will be held at the Penn Plaza Pavilion, on 7th Avenue at 33rd Street, directly across from Madison Square Garden. There will be more than 300 dealers & exhibitors, showcasing comics, toys, action figures, original art, videos, autographs, non-sports cards, TV & movie memorabilia & more. It’s the place to buy, sell or trade your collectibles!

Headlining the special guests at this year’s NATIONAL CONVENTION will be HAYDEN PANETTIERRE, Claire, the cheerleader from “Heroes”; KRISTEN BELL, "Veronica Mars" (Sunday only), WALTER KOENIG, Ensign Chekov from “Star Trek”; and KATEY SAGAL, “Futurama,” “Married...with Children.” Courtesy of the Give Life Foundation, stars of “Lost” MIRA FURLAN and WILLIAM MAPOTHER. Over 100 comic book artists, writers, and editors will be present, including JIM STERANKO, who will be leading a comic art seminar on Sunday, legendary comic book artist NEAL ADAMS, and CARMINE INFANTINO, creator of the Flash and "Godfather of DC Comics," over the three days along with fan favorites JOHN ROMITA SR. (Sat), SERGIO ARAGONES, and ADAM HUGHES. Other comic book guests include Alex Saviuk (Web of Spider-man), Billy Tucci (Creator of Shi), Bob Layton (Iron Man), Bob McLeod (New Mutants), Dick Ayers (Silver age legend), Gary Friederich (creator of Ghost Rider), Irwin Hasen (Dondi, Golden Age Green Lantern), Jimmy Palmiotti (Daredevil, Superman Confidential), Joe Sinnott (classic Marvel inker), Michael Golden (Superman: Man of Steel), Mark Evanier (Scooby Doo comics, Groo the Wanderer), Mark Sparacio (Shi & Green Lantern cover artist), Mark Texeira (Ghost Rider), Paolo Rivera (Marvel Comics), Rich Buckler (1970’s Fantastic Four, Daredevil), Stuart Sayger (Shiver in the Dark), Tim Sale (Batman: the Long Halloween, Heroes), Tim Vigil (Creator of Faust), and underground legends Mark Bode, Spain and S. There will be free giveaways at the door and SPECIAL EVENTS including panels about comic books; Q&A sessions with celebrities; showings of Darkon, the award-winning documentary of live action fantasy role playing, and the new fan film Return of the Ghostbusters; A full day of gaming events on Saturday; NY Jedi's lightsaber academy and competition; live medieval combat demonstrations; and the fan favorite, CAPTAIN ZORIKH'S COSTUME CONTEST with hundreds of dollars in prizes on Sunday!
