wow, how long is it.
Also, i have added a few drawings into my gallery. They are a bit hard to see becuase i had to take pictures of them with my phone. As soon as a figure out how to work my scanner, i will post better quality ones.

I don't have the animation online, because it's just too big of a file. Before I learned FLASH (as I know it now), I made The SYMBOL animation, without ANY understand about file SIZE and the importance of keeping things as small as possible. Each image I was importing into the animation just kept adding TOO much to the overall megs of the animation, so I just decided to keep it to myself. I'll tell you what, I'll upload just 1 3-minute sequence of action the send the link to you. It's one of my favorites. I'll get back to you when it's uploaded. I hope you have a fast connection (cable or DSL). Otherwise, you're going to waiting a LONG time for the animation to play.

i love the character, but the main thing i dont like about the web comic was that the backgrounds looked 3d.

Fair opinion and I respect it. The backgrounds were/are made in a 3D modeling program (Vue D' Esprit) and I purposely incorporated "that" style of background in the web comic, because I could never draw them to look as "real" as the way Vue creates them. Besides, in 2002, I built a 3D city for The SYMBOl's animation and it's just simpler to navigate through it and capture the perfect angle of a building to use for a specific scene in the web comic. Thanks again for the comment TheNorm.

To TheNorm, yes...I created The SYMBOL, about 2 months after 9/11. Inspired by what comic artists were doing to acknowledge the tragedy, I decided to draw a 9/11 themed image featuring a patriotic, superpowered, hero team I created in 2000 called Force America. Afterwards, I wanted to create a new, non-superpowered hero who was "born" from 9/11 and I came up with a character I was originally going to call The Flag, but after learning there was already character using that name (in Rising Stars), I later came up with the name, The SYMBOL. He is my version of a patriotic Batman or a Dark Knight Captain America.
