_________________________________________________________ "The Power Of Negative Thinking" - my story for the upcoming Oeming Board SECRET PROJECT anthology - is complete! Check it out over there in mah galleries, sugah. Insomnia Publications UK's Layer Zero series has now been collected into a sleek trade paperback! See my tale "Theoretical Mechanics" again...for the first time! ;) Lookit this pic of me Dazzlin' Donal DeLay drew! _________________________________________________________ Reviewer Praise:Sean Maher of Bookshelfcomics.com, reviewing Memories & Echoes, wrote:“'90 Seconds', adapted by Thommy Melanson from a true story, was my favorite piece here. The story dances on the cusp of the unbelievable, which makes it really exciting. The main (uh, only) character is charismatic and funny, and the lesson he learns is brilliantly humble considering the insane events of the tale."Shaun Manning of SilverBulletComicBooks.Com, reviewing Somnia: Daydreams And Nightscapes, wrote:“'Strangers in the Night' is Somnia’s greatest departure from type, as it stars a superhero tormented by love’s missed opportunities. Illustrated by Klaus and Wolfgang Schwandt in a more traditional comic book style, the Protector’s romance is both funny and charming. The Superman stand-in finds aid in wooing a frisky superheroine from the ghosts of the Rat Pack—rotting corpses of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Sammy Davis, Jr. It’s hard to go wrong with a premise like that."_________________________________________________________ Bibliography:APOCALYPSE PRESSThe Apocalyptic Times - "The Great Gig In The Sky, Pt. 1" art and script Ascension Soliloquy by Serena Imai - art APPROBATION COMICSChaos Campus #1 - "Hell Night" - dialogue/script polish DIAL R STUDIOSPantheon Blue - "Sad Girl" FAN-ATIC PRESSSlam Bang #4 - story title forthcomingFOO! Just a word on this guy's bona fides - I've known Thommy (known in the internet sense, anyway) for years now. I first met him when he was a late submitter for an antho I was helping to edit. At the time, submissions were closed, but yet, somehow, he got in anyway. Why? Well, read his stuff and it'll be obvious. That story was "End of the Hunt," and he's only gotten better since. Check out his writing, or even better, hire him. He gives good word. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on April 16th, 2007 6:41 PM ]

Oh, you...
...you've given me wood.
And you're only like the 16th or 17th man to do so, so consider yourself in elite company ;)
...
...I was late submitting?! |
