A dedicated Spider-Man fan, I publish the fanzine Thwip! simultaneously as part of the MZS-APA www.mzsapa.com and as a free-standing zine. Submissions are always being accepted for articles, reviews, and artwork for cover or interior features.

The fanzine has been on hiatus for quite a while now, but a relaunch is planned, with a new title - most likely Thwip! Presents: ___. This is due to the fact that following the events of "One More Day", I dropped Amazing Spider-Man from my regular buying & reading list for the first time since 1978. SPOILERS: Peter Parker would never make a deal with the devil (OK, Mephisto, but same thing as far as the Marveul Universe goes), regardless of the stakes. I say the inability of the writers to come up with good stories about a married Peter Parker is not a sign that the character should be single again, but rather as a sign that the writers are either not imaginative enough, or not talented enough, to do so - and thus should be replaced by better writers. Until the marriage of Peter & MJ is restored, the only way I will buy an issue of the book is for a factor-of-100 anniversary issue, or a storyline favorably featuring MJ, or the issue has a cover drawn by John Romita Sr.
