Happy Going Away Day (Entry for RSOM 5)
My entry for Tokyopop's Rising Stars of Manga Contest. It made the semifinals but ultimately lost. This is my longest completed story, which is sad. It features Jean and Malika, the lesbians from the previous story.

Rant
I've been pigeonholed as a manga artist. I'm 'manga' Tintin. I do 'manga'. Granted I market myself that way, but even when I don't, that's what people assume. My work's been described as too 'OEL'. Is that a compliment? Oh well, it's all fun.

FAG HAG
I thought I was a fag hag, but now I understand: girls just like boys who like boys.

Sevenplains- Lonely Bones
I attempted to summarize my webcomic SEVENPLAINS into a single story. Unfortunately, 'Lonelybones' condensed Sevenplains' themes, characters and symbols at the expence of any coherence whatsoever. This story originally appeared in Girlamatic.com.

Jean and Malika
I attempt Yuri ( lesbian girl-love comics for women). I really haven't found any yuri to match the sheer fuck-uppiness of yaoi. Yuri is mostly sweet girls in love ("giggle!") Where's the mindfucks?

Jayananda-Poison
Another short Jayananda comic- a monk exiled to a remote mountain temple who adopts an orphan girl while coping with his inner demons. Someday I'll finish it. He's addicted to a drug called 'purge.' I have a soft spot for druggie stories.

Jayananda-Birth
The second Jayananda comic (c. 2002). It's what, three or four years old? Done with bristol and Sharpie marker, before I knew Sharpies were toxic. This comic is old and rough, but I still haven't enjoyed drawing anything as much as this. Wonder why?
