I'm a 30-something Forensic Investigator (really) based out of NYC. All around happy guy - great job, great apt, great city, great other half, great life. I'm also a moderator over at comicbloc.com, the site that originated as geoffjohns.com but has grown to include Greg Rucka, Ron Marz, Gail Simone, J Torres, Beau Smith, Don Kramer, Ethan Van Sciver, Leonard Kirk, Rags Morales, Scott Kolins, Steve Sadowski, Simone Bianchi, Todd Nauck, Jamal Igle, Marc Andreyko, Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti, Marc Guggenheim and many many more. They make this out to be one of the greatest things ever, but it isn't. I figured fellow comic geeks would be wanting to get to know each other, to become more united but nope. The only people posting are the ones that wanna get their work recognized, which is the purpose of this of course, but when a good majority of your comments are not even aimed at you, but something that the poster has been copying and pasting on everyone's CS (like HAY COME VISIT OUR COMIC SHOP!), then it gets annoying. |
