And so the nominations have begun for the 2007 Eagle Awards at http://www.eagleawards.co.uk/nominate.asp, to be held at the Bristol Ramada Hotel on the 12th May.

Now, people who know what happened last year also know that it's utterly pointless for Markosia to even attempt to win, because, well, let's face it - we're lumped in with 2000ad and the Megazine.

But, being nominated's always fun, so we all have a chance to vote at least.

Click on the link at the top, put in your details and then submit. If you don't see the title / creator you like, feel free to add them in the blank box at the top - the site updates and the votes get shown.

And, if you're thinking of things to vote for, may I suggest TONY LEE as best writer? SAM HART as best artist pencils? DAN BOULTWOOD for best art, inks? STARSHIP TROOPERS for Favourite Colour Comicbook - British, and/or favourite new comicbook? How about STARSHIP TROOPERS #0 for Favourite Comics Story published during 2006? STARSHIP TROOPERS for best reprint?
