Trees & Hills comic group is a collective of cartoonists and comic folk from Vermont, New Hampshire and western Massachusetts.

In addition to being a resource for local comic creators, the Trees & Hills Web site is also a news portal for area comic events.

Monthly drawing parties are held on third Saturdays in various venues in the area of Keene, N.H. and Brattleboro, Vt.

The group recently published a 60-page anthology that features comic work by Stephen R. Bissette, Mark Martin, Cat Garza and Marek Bennett.

Yes, the radioactive bartenders can be a thing of beauty, but they freak me out. Then again, down in Guilford, folks know a thing or two about isotope migration. I'm doing what I can to avoid the fenceline, thanks very much.
