"Friends" policy: If I don't recognise you and you seem to be fishing to add to your already-large list (publishers are especially suspect), I'll probably deny you. If you really do (or sincerely want to) know me, drop me a message.

Techie! Writer! Artist! Designer! Philosopher! I'm a true jack of all trades... and yes: I know how that expression ends. Nonetheless, I am the master of my own domain.

Having recently received a degree in Illustration and Digital Media (from Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids MI, where I am now Staff Computer Geek), I've been dabbling in creating comics, including an adaptation of O. Henry's "Gift of the Magi", and a 24-Hour Comic "The Adventures of Anthony in the 24th Century". I'm also an organizer for the Michigan Comics Network, an informal social/support/jam group for all variety of cartoonists.

My current project is a short PG13-rated account of my first date with my erstwhile boyfriend Andy (which was, in fact, suitable for preteen viewing). I have several other short-story-length pieces in development, and a sprawling semi-autobio graphic novel planned ("Stuck Rubber Baby" meets "Our Cancer Year" and they have a three-way with "Blankets").

Veteran netizens may remember me from such 20th century phenomena as... rec.arts.comics.* (I was a Squiddies administrator)... the early comics-reviews web site "Beek's Books" I hosted on my home web server, which I've since mostly folded into the dormant GraphicNovels.info... or my short-lived comics-and-the-law blog "Briefs on the Outside".

My reading interests are eclectic, including some fairly mainstream superhero stuff (I was a DC kid), straight sci-fi, real life mature readers stories, some fantasy, humor, and gay erotica (including yaoi... as long as it has more to it than just girlie boys teasing and swooning).

The Adventures of Anthony in the 24th Century Mature Content Warning Jump to External Web Site

A 24-Hour Comic, in which a young man from the present day awakes to find himself in the 24th century, in a world which has changed - and failed to change - from our own in amazing and disappointing ways.

Todd! I forgot I had a Comicspace account. I was just bumming around and so you had "Anthony in the 24th" on the web. How cool!

Hey Todd thanks for the add. I really enjoyed your 24 hour comic. I'm in awe you could attempt such a task. It takes me a day just to draw a one page comic, let alone a book. Rather impressive.

I also enjoyed my copy of your 24 hour comic. I will cherish it until the 24th century and beyond! Actually, I did find if fun and entertaining. Good Job!

Thank you for adding me.

I really enjoyed looking through your gallery and seeing your work progress from such an early age! (Once I dug up some old sketches and all I seemed to draw was ponies with bows)

Todd,

We didn't always agree on usenet, but I always enjoyed reading your posts. Nice to see you here now. I'm definitely interested in reading whatever comics you produce.

HOT DAMN! Well, if it isn't Todd!
Glad to see you around here! Thanks for the add, and for your work in the industry!
One day I'll get back to CyberZone, or Amanda & Gunn, and you'll be proud of me again.

Hey Todd! Just thought I'd drop you a line. Nice to see that you made an account on here. I hope they get the comics hosting portion up soon, it will hopefully be a nice feature to use. speaking of, since I missed it, I hope you bring your finished art that you mentioned to the next meeting. I am curious to see it. I think that I will be able make the January meeting... see you there.
