Hey, welcome to UE comics. "UE Comics?" You might be wondering, stands for Upstart Empire Comics. I figured UE would be a little shorter than constantly writing Upstart Empire. Secondly, I have been using my logo--an up arrow in a circle--much longer than those Above the Influence ads have been around. Please don't associate them with me, they are tools. While I may be a tool in my own rights, I was still using that logo first.

Anyway, UE comics is just the banner that I fly my independent work under. I'm fairly new to creating comics, but have been working on story ideas and writing for years. I have a few titles coming down the pipeline, but as I am writing, drawing, inking, lettering and coloring on my own I'm not sure when they will hit the market. Here is an overview of the current project.

The Always Interesting Affairs of E. Philip Godman Part of a study abroad program in Venice, E. Philip Godman finds that while an ocean away from his everyday life, old problems still have a way of cropping up. From losing an invaluable trinket he stole from his mentor, to having his secret wheelings and dealings discovered by a mysterious, gaudily clad gang, Philip can't help but have plan after plan fall apart on him. Stay tuned to find out how he worms, or kills, his way out of his Venetian troubles. Fun for the entire family, as long as the entire family enjoys naughty language, sex, violence, betrayal, and moral apathy.
