Man, you just gave me a flashback to a really bad tv sitcom from the seventies! Can't remember the name, but I definitely remember one of the characters going hey-hey-hey (and I am not talking "Fat Albert" either). :)

So, where is your e-mail entry in the Dojo's UY NR 100 Raffle?

You mean the dojos? I visit them pretty often, sometimes I just don't have anything to say.

Hey Robweiller,
Still waiting on your entry in the UY NR 100 raffle... ;)

so I am guessing you like Samurai? LOL I am a huge Usagi fan, and I am also into a few other samurai comics and movies. sounds like you are a hard core fan. Usagi is probably my main dose of bushido goodness though. I have been collecting that comic for the longest of any other book I've been into and I don't intend on stopping. I am looking forward to the issue 100 coming up soon. anyway, I thought I would drop a fellow Usagi fan a line. feel free to PM me or comment if you want to chat about samurai/Japan/rabbits/etc. or anything else.

Thanks for the greeting, I am always glad to meet another Usagi Yojimbo and samurai film fan, especially ones living in MI. In case you have not stumbled upon them during your internet wanderings, be sure to visit the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo ("official" internet website of the ronin rabbit) and the Ninja Dojo (the best web-site and forum for the fan of Samurai films)

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I have been to the Usagi Dojo, but not the Ninja one. I will check it out. I am probably due for some samurai movie action soon. good thing I am getting a netflix account this month. hopefully the wife won't mind me stocking up on Kurasawa flicks. I just read Usagi 99 and loved it. there is a cliffhanger leading to 100 if you haven't read it yet. Abayo!

Actually, the cliffhanger ending of issue #99 does not pick up again until issue #101. Issue #100 is a special extra long issue featuring short stories by a bunch of Stan Sakai's friends from the comic community, all writing short pieces in a "roast" style celebration of Usagi Yojimbo releasing it's 100th issue from Dark Horse Comics. Of course Stan will be contributing some pages to the issue as well, but the issue will be completely out of the normal continuety of the normal series. Dark Horse Comics has also just posted a Usagi Contest on their web-site in celebration of the 100th issue as well.

Really? Well, I guess I haven't been keeping up at the dojo... I assumed it would just be maybe an extra long issue or something to that effect. What they have planned sounds pretty cool. Now I am even more excited.

Hi, Steve!

Thank you very much for the add. And it's always good to see another UY fan - and specially an UY Dojo member - around. ;D
