Good afternoon my fellow forumites & ComicSpace Icons!

I hope that everyone's been having an excellent April and Spring so far. Mine's been pretty nice for the most part with some heavy showers mixed in for good measure.

First, I wanted to thank everyone that's been posting on a somewhat regular basis on the forums. We've now surpassed 7,500 posts, closing in on our previous high number of 8,000+ before VC Ragnarok 2007. Had that never happened, we'd be at the 13,000+ range, but those are the breaks, right?

Though the forum's been very slow lately due to several reasons, I wanted to assure you that it will not be disappearing like so many before it. VC is here to stay, welcoming new and old users for the long haul.

I also want to thank everyone on the forum that's opened an account at the ValhallaComics.com store and offered some support. Without your support, your friendship, your feedback and your growing talent, I wouldn't have had the inspiration and perseverance to venture onward with my ideas and aspirations. Ever since this community began over at LedHeavy, I knew we had developed something unique amongst the online comic/art industry.

Anyway, I just wanted to start off with a big thanks to everyone that's made my growing success and development of the Valhalla Comics site/community possible.

On with the news!

PRE-ORDERS:
Pre-Orders for June have been up for the last week and a half; so if you want to be assured that your title is in stock, please make your orders by tomorrow at 3:00pm EST. That will be the last possible time I'll be able to take any pre-orders for June. I will have pre-orders for July up within the next 3-5 days.

FORUMS:
Beginning now, I will be offering FREE hosted forums for Indy/mainstream creators. So, if you or someone you know is a penciller, inker, colorist, writer, publisher, etc, please feel free to take advantage of this new service. Just E-Mail (or have them E-Mail) me at kevin@valhallacomics.com with the regular title(s) that you're working on and I'll be happy to setup a forum and a @valhallacomics.com E-Mail address for you. The forum will have your name with a submitted image directly underneath of it. The maximum image size for your personal forum should be no larger than 450px (w) x 80px (h)

This is a free service with absolutely no ads and you will receive full moderator permissions for your forum.

WEB-COMICS:
I'm also looking to add a free web-comic hosting service (again, no ads) to my list of services, as well. I'm going to be researching the best methods to do this for users so that they'll be able to update their site manually, as opposed to having me do it for them. So, I'll keep you updated on my progress for that, as well.

The link for your web comic would be: http://comics.valhallacomics.com for the portal page (the home page will change accordingly to allow space for all hosted comics) and a direct link would be something like this: http://comics.valhallacomics.com/webcomicname.

I will make another announcement when this service is activated.

As for our own web-comic Lil' Gods... if you haven't done so, please head over to http://comics.valhallacomics.com/lilgods.php and take a look at the two newest strips by Skot Johnson (the new artist) and myself (writer). There will be more to come by Joe, Skot and me soon, but at the moment Skot is dealing with some personal matters. So, we've hit a bit of a hiatus until things sort themselves out.

I'll keep you updated on that progress, as well, and let you know when the next episode is up! =] For the time being, please take a look at the two new episodes that are up right now and let us know what you think!

COMIC REVIEWS:
Anton Curley has been diligently updating his comic reviews on the Sagas O' Scrutiny site over the past 5 months... soon to be 6! Half a year of reviews?! Can you believe that? I sure can't. Anyway, it's been a pleasure to have Anton on the team and it's been a great time reading his reviews. Give it a go over at http://reviews.valhallacomics.com and read his two latest reviews for: Kick-Ass (which is an amazing comic, btw) and Avengers: The Initiative!

Great reviews Anton and keep up the excellent work! =]

That about does it on this side of the fence. Please let me know if there's anything I can do for you, improve your VC experience or otherwise.

Remember, I do take custom orders for comics/trades/graphic novels (or whatever you're looking for in the industry), so please let me know if there's anything I can get for you.
