I hope everyone's having a wonderful May month and that you're enjoying the beautiful Spring weather (assuming you have the luxury of experiencing seasons where you are).

I had just a couple of announcements to make, regarding the online store and forum.

.::Valhalla Comics Online Store: The WTF?! Deal::.

If you're a regular visitor of the store at http://www.valhallacomics.com, you've noticed the updated banner at the top-center of the page, right under the usual discount amounts.

Yes, if you haven't heard/read/seen, we're running a BIG sale on all of the inventory in the store. Using the coupon code (at checkout): "BIGSALE" (one word, without quotations), you'll save an ADDITIONAL 20% OFF on EVERY single item that's up for sale. That means everything... be it comic supplies (comic backing boards & bags), art supplies (comic art boards, sketch cards, etc), tpbs/graphic novels and ALL comics (back issues, new, and pre-orders).

What that means is that the usual tier of 10-20% off for comics changes to 30-40% OFF. Am I insane or what? I'm not being picky about titles, I'm just offering up a huge sale on everything.

Here's the updated tier for the foreseeable future:
1-10 comics = 30% OFF
11-20 comics = 35% OFF
21+ comics = 40% OFF

Just remember to add the BIGSALE coupon code, when you're viewing your cart and please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or requests!

.:: A Call Out to Artists That Need a Forum ::.

I'm still accepting applications (with no other word to describe it) for custom forum setups. If you're an artist/writer/publisher working on projects, be it independent or mainstream, you are entitled to a FREE forum on http://forum.valhallacomics.com. You need only provide me with the forum name of your choice, the information pertaining to your comic/art work, and a banner image for your custom forum that's no larger than 450wx80h pixels. Please contact me if you're interested.

I'd say that's a pretty good deal, since running a forum, alone, costs me about $100 per year, which brings in $0 in income and will cost you nothing, banner/ad free. Think about it. I'm trying to save you silly people money, while generating a growing populace on the board, for both of us. I think it could be a worthwhile symbiotic relationship.
