Hello to all visitors, I am a fairly new comic collector living in Toronto, ON.
I started collecting comics a little over two years ago when I began going to conventions. At that time I began with Fathom which had amazing artwork and a story I could live with.
Then I discovered that they actually make comics about one of my favorite things in the world fairies! I began at that time collecting any comic which had fairies in them. I have runs I am very found which are Soulfire and Wisdom. I will be adding my galleries of both soon.
Recently I was given the Anita Blake novels and read them all back to back and was surprised to have enjoyed them. Of course I was thrilled when they came out in comic form and have begun my collection of them as well.
It is my hope to own a 9.8 of all the Anita Blake issues including all variants covers. If you have any for sale please feel free to contact me.

Soulfire Dying of the Light
Dying of the Light sets the stage for the Soulfire series it spun out of. It takes place in the end of the last era of magic where a disease is killing magical beings and parts of magic (such as the wings so many rely on in this era to fly with).

Wisdom
In November 2006, Wisdom returned in a 6-issue Limited series. Wisdom is a former British Secret Service agent with the mutant ability to throw 'blades' of energy ("hot knives") from his fingertips.

Anita Blake
On October 20, 2006, Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Guilty Pleasures #1 was released. The issue sold out on the release date. This comic is based on a series of dark fantasy novels by Laurell K. Hamilton.

Grendel War Child
War Child was printed in 1992. 10yrs after the death of Orion his son Jupiter was kidnapped from his home/prison at a base by a lone Grendel in full-body black body armour known as Grendel-Prime.

Much thanks. I never would have dreamed 5 years ago that I would read a comic much less collect them, but my husband won me over and now I have such a growing colection, it is just nice to share with everyone. |

I'm new to comics too and have the Anita Blake comics. I've been trying to build up that universe's profile (entries) over on comicvine.com.
