Hello there, I didn't hear you come in. I write and draw my own Small Press comic called Guide Dog Detective. It's a cheesy cop drama with a cast of animals including llama cops, drug-dealing rabbits, Yakuza finches and gorilla S.W.A.T teams! The series is 2 issues strong at the moment with 3 mini-comics that run alongside. It's getting a very good response, with positive reviews from Comics International, Silver Bullet Comic Books and Ain't it Cool News. Geoff Johns even read it and no money changed hands in getting him to do so.

In other news, I'm a 27 year old Illustrator who works in a comic shop which is handy. I draw, paint, make toys, design T-shirts, write and draw comics and have a lot of very talented friends who do the same kind of thing. One day I hope to return to my career as a Mexican Wrestler, but must regain my honour before I do so. When I grow up, I want to illustrate children's books, draw comics, have an animated series of Guide Dog Detective and meet El Santo, which may prove tricky as he's been dead for some time.

However, when I'm all re-jobbed up and making a decent wage I'll be straight through to you, believe me! How's things going with you? I really liked your submission for the Banal Pig anthology. Very funny. I'm working (in the loosest sense of the word - more like pondering) on an idea for a regular humour-based comic showcase/anthology/magazine that you might be interested in.
