AntiBunny
About the Comic:
AntiBunny is an artistic endeavor. My intent is to create an artistic style uniquely my own, while at the same time weaving relationships between the various characters, whom just happen to be talking rabbits.

In making AntiBunny I intentionally use hand shaded gray pencil and black ink in deep detail to create what is hopefully eye pleasing art while at the same time being very traditional. My use of grays has been described to me, by some of my readers, as Avant-Garde. Perhaps it is. I could in the same amount of time, create the same comics in color given the amount of work put into shading, but I choose to remain gray to maintain a consistent mood within the comic.

The Main AntiBunny is currently updated alongside another story set in the same city a year prior called "Nailbat Begins". At random intervals I throw in an extra update with the incredibly random and irreverent "Stickman and Bonehead".

Still reading? Want to know about me? Well there's not that much to it. My pen name is Vinnie D. which is a shortened version of my real name. Because my real name just happens to be shared with Vincent Davis producer of the Garfield and Friends animated series from the late 80's and early 90's (a show I as a child enjoyed greatly, and found far more interesting than the now dull and repetitive newspaper comic.) It's considered polite in the world of publishing for the second individual to share a name to use a pen name, or initial to avoid confusion with the original.

My current comic is AntiBunny, which you've of course already read about. Previously I along with a co-au8thor created the webcomic Ubergeek
( http://ubergeekthecomic.com ) back in 1999. After a brief experiment with sprite comics in the form of the Ubergeek spin off Sprite World, the comic was ultimately abandoned, when my attentions turned toward AntiBunny and my co-author became too busy to continue work on the comic himself. Will Ubergeek ever live again? It's possible, but there are no concrete plans at the moment.

Outside of my own comic I've also recently created a guest story for another webcomic I enjoy LightBringer ( http://lightbringer.comicgen.com ) in the form of LightBungler. It seems to have gone over well enough.

I'm also working on a project for this October I'm calling Keen Zombies. I'll keep you posted on that.

Outside of webcomics I've also dabbled in fanfiction, poetry (in fact you'll see a bit of my love for freeform poetry in AntiBunny), fan art, and I currently run a little online text based RPG in my spare time.

Offline I'm an art student majoring in studio art with a minor in art education. I hope to teach one day and eventually work my way into publishing. There are countless stories in my head looking to get out into the world some day, and it's my passion to see that done. In the process I hope that maybe I can spend some time teaching and pass on a love of art to future generations.
