Ronaldo Barata
It was 1979 when Ronaldo Barata was Born in São Paulo, on the traditional neighborhood of Mooca,
some blocks away from the Juventus Soccer Club. It was the Children's International Year.
Barata began studying the techniques of drawing pretty soon; when he was 10 he attended his first
artistic drawing course. And hasn't stopped since then. He's got a major in Communication Design
(José Rocha Mendes Technical State School), Visual Design (Dom Bosco Salesian Editors Graphic Design Course),
and Webdesign (Senai and Senac). He was part of the first class at the Fábrica de Quadrinhos Arts School
(that later became Quanta Academia de Artes) where he spent three years studying Comics. Since his 18th
birthday, he's been doing a lot of stuff for advertising studios and agencies: layouts, logos, illustrations,
character design, electronic editing and webdesign. He's also dedicated to teaching and illustrating books
for a lot of publishers. He might be recognized by the things he did for both Castor (My Research Book
Collection) and Daemon (Arcadia Heros Delictum and Daemon Supers, are examples).
Barata was responsible for the creation of the logo for Art&Comiccs Studios and logo design and website
