| Header: | Looking for amateur artist for superhero comic project | ||
| Bulletin: | Due to my still low-leveled talent with art, I'm still confined to being a writer. And as such, I'm looking for one, two or maybe even more amateur artist to help make this two-years-in-development idea below come alive: 30 pages in 2 parts (14 + 16) (Black/White Comic) "VIRTUS - Forging Of A Hero": When a normal, bullied Swedish teenager gets into an accident involving a particle accelerator and discovers that he has developed superpowers, he decides to use them for revenge against his tormentors. But when a Holocaust survivor makes him realize that his thirst for revenge puts him in the same category as humans like Hitler, he concludes to put on a mask and fight evil in all their shapes as Virtus, protector of all things right and good. But it isn't always easy to do what's right, and Virtus often finds himself stuck in the middle. SCRIPT: Sebastian Sandberg ILLUSTRATION: YOU! I think you've guessed where this is heading. I want YOUR artistic skills to bring the story of Virtus to life. I'm currently in talks with Swedish fanzine "Svenska Superserier" (Swedish Super Comics, but it's just called that because we publish it in Sweden, so anyone is welcome, be it from USA, Great Britain, Germany etc. of any age, any gender, any race, any religion, is welcome!) to get Virtus published in a future issue. Now I have been asked to go on hunt for one, two or more artists to help me out. As I said, the comic book is a fanzine, and as such it is published by amateurs, such as myself. There's no money in it, but I can promise you full credit for the illustrations. It's a small step from an amateur to a professional that can take payment for his services. So if you want to gain fame as an artist and my neverending gratitude, just comment, note or send an e-mail to sandberg.sebastian@telia.com for further discussion with such things as character designs. A small tip, if you're more than one artist interested in taking part, the job will be split up so that each artist gets less pressure on him or her. For example, if you become two artists, you'll only have to do half of the pages each, and if you're four, a quarter... I think you get the point XD IF ANYTHING'S UNCLEAR, JUST ASK. CURRENT POTENTIONAL CANDIDATES: Victor Matiesen (DarkPaladin300) |
