My hometown is Berlin, where I live and work as graphic-designer, freelance illustrator and comic-artist. I started publishing comics in renowned German independent comic magazines like "Algier", "Kromix" and "Utopische Welt". My affinity for SF and horror stories got me into the German horror anthology "Gespenster-Geschichten" in 1989, where I published until 1997. From 1998 till 2001 I scripted and drew parodies of the German TV scene for the German edition of MAD MAGAZINE. Since then I published in different German magazines like "Zack!" or "Horrorschocker". In 2002 my first comic-book "Los 7 Mariachis" got in print. The second part of this is in production - more ore less. You'll find an overview of my works at my homepage. I am founder and editor of germany's largest online comic magazine INKplosion.de, which shows currently about 1.200 comic pages by way over 130 artists from all over the world (well, most of them are of course german artists). Feel free to visit templercomic.blogspot.com - there you'll find infos and pictures of my project "Blood of the Templar" which hit comic-store in Germany in December 2007. My latest project is "Schalke - Helden von ganz unten 1904-1945" (Schalke - heroes from the bottom), a comic showing historic events of one of Germany's most famous soccer clubs. The comicbook has 48 pages in the french album format and is available since August 15th, 2008. Blood of the Templar
My current project - first time as "only" writer/layouter. It's an adaption of the novel "Blood of the Templar" by German writer Wolfgang Hohlbein. Pencils by Simon Eckert, inks by Regina Haselhorst, colors by Alex Raphelt.
