WAHOO MORRIS“Read this comic...or die. ...The art is beautiful and the slightly off the beaten path story is s#!tloads of fun. Put down that superhero book and pick this up!” - Sequential Tart "...the next Strangers in Paradise." - Cliff Biggers, Comic Shop News Wahoo Morris is the story of a fledgling college circuit indie rock band. (more info to come when I'm less lazy) Originally starting out as a self-published indie comic series, before moving to Image Comics for one issue, Wahoo Morris moved to the web joining Modern Tales in 2004. Now Wahoo Morris continues on Web Comics Nation and has returned to print again in a series of digest size trade paperbacks at it's original home Too Hip Gotta Go Graphics. WAHOO MORRIS Book OneISBN 0-9735161-1-9 (AUG063612) reprints all the individual comics and is available now. WAHOO MORRIS Book Two picks up the story where it left off, with all-new content, and comes out sometime in the impending future. Keep posted for an updated release date. This year I will be publishing a Free Comic Book Day edition of Wahoo Morris #1 to help promote the trade paperback series. Ask your retailer for it now, and go back to get it May 5, 2007! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- OTHER PROJECTSThe Chelation Kid I am also the artist of the Harvey Award nominated The Chelation Kid (written by Robert Tinnell): the autobiographical story of one family raising an Autistic child. Sîan A Sword & Sorcery series about a young female thief, Sian is currently on hiatus with one stand alone story in the archives. I have plans for her further adventures. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -----

THanks for the add. Nice page ya got here. If you liked Session One of Eternal, you'll love Session Two even more. I know I do :) I think it's gonna top my last chapter easy as far as presentation. Kinda takes awhile Penciling, inking, toning and lettering my manga, but once it's done it's worth it. Well, talk to ya later. Peace.- GIO |

Hi there! We’re starting up this year’s Small Press Idol…and wanted to invite you to the grand unveiling of this year’s Guidelines. I apologize for the all-in-one nature of this. At this time, individuals and teams have a little over a month to get things together and be ready to post their Round 1 entries. Round 1 will last till March 25th. It’s a solid window to get a project together and qualified for Round 2 past our judge panel. If you are interested in being a contestant, this is fair warning to get a project going! If you are a news outlet or resource of any sort, we invite you to help spread the word about Small Press Idol, and get on the official Sponsors and Supporters list on the Idol Main Page. Traditionally, the page has gotten hundreds of thousands of hits a month for the 5 months the contest runs. All we ask in return for the link placement on our prominently placed list, is a link back in some way that is fairly prominent, and that you indeed cover the contest if you are a news site. You can contact us about that right from the guidelines page. Just want to watch the show? That’s great! Now is time to sign up at the site so you can VOTE in the rounds to come, and post comments about your favorites! We’re expecting hundreds of contestants this year. It should be a lot of fun!

Hope this message reaches you in the spirit it was intended, you are welcome to ask questions, and otherwise make sure this is for real. This is the fourth year for the SPI. Last year’s contest pages are still online. So that’s what this is about, hope it interests you!

Hey Craig - Remember those runs down to ARTHUR'S and Joel Braverman's COLLECTOR'S STOP in the early 80's with the Walkers? I love your book and I appreciate your love of all things sequential. Nice to see someone as talented and generous as yourself working in the industry. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on January 2nd, 2007 12:25 PM ]

Hi Joe,
Still trying to figure out this place, so sorry for taking so long to reply. I definitely remember all those trips to Collector's Stop and Athur's. You and the Walkers took me to my first comic shop, so I guess you're to thank/blame for my obsession and career!
I look forward to seeing you again in TO this spring. |

Thanks for the Add. Elfquest huh.. you wouldn't happen to know Barry Blair would you? Creator of Elflord (Ottawa based Aircel Comics, now defunct of course). I heard he joined Wendy Pini for a while on Elfquest.
Anywho, it's nice to see more great Ottawa talent out there. Good stuff my man! Cheers! 1 Reply [ Latest posted on January 2nd, 2007 12:22 PM ]

Yep. I worked on the Aircel comics when I was in my teens, and got the ElfQuest gig through a recommendation from Barry. I haven't heard from or of Barry since the ElfQuest days, though. |
