Welcome to the home of Wayne Action Comics. WAC for short. After many years of reading and loving comics I thought it was high time to start doing some myself. It's still the early stages but thanks to John at Rumble Comics who's inspired me take the plunge once more.

Currently I'm still working on my own Project Umann, but as often happen with own projects it's on the back burner at the moment. But I've have been plenty busy working on stuff over at hhttp://www.superherouniverse.com
writing and illustation other peoples Superhero Characters such as Johnny Rebel and Big Blue. Which has been nothing but fun so far and I think my writing is coming alone nicely. Might even tryout for the majors next year who knows :D

And now I thought I'd add alittle back ground history to my interest in comics.

Been British I naturally was inducted into the world of the Beano and the Dandy.Which lasted until the relauch of The Eagle in the Eighties. Where upon I basked in the warm glow of Dan Dare and the Meakon,One Eye Jack and Doomlord. That gave way into the wonderful horror of Scream.Which was full of tales of the weird and the strange. From Dracula to the Thirteeth Floor.

These delights were mingled with finding second hand Annuals of Lion featuring Archie the Robot.Plus Kit and Kat (i think thats what they were called) Two teen crime fighters in surburbian england, armed only with yoyo's.

Then came the holy grail of discovering 2000AD. And life would never be the same again.My favourites been Nemesis the Warlock and Rouge Trooper.But Halo Jones was of course was the top. I didn't care at the time who wrote it or who did the artwork it was the story first. Which I think should always come first.

Where's the Americian Comics you ask? Well I remember that every summer when we went on holiday I would end up buying a comic from news stand. Knowing full well I'd never see the next issue. Therefore I'd only see snapshots of what was happening. But that meant I would read and reread every issue 100 times. From cover to cover. Hoping one day to own a Sea Monkey or a Spaldings basket ball. And having the sight of Marvel's Torpedo's lying dead in the rubble of his home.Having been killed by shape shifting aliens. Rom the Space Knight to late to save him. I still light a candle to his memory.

And I wish one day he'll take to the skies once more. But I think even Marvel has forgotten him and ROM the Space Knight.

The SuperheroUniverse Gallery

The Umann Gallery

I still have to do justice to Rom's little helper The Torpedo.I seen a few ads in Rom for the Micronauts so I know what they look like.

Also wanted to say I love the old Rom comics too. I'm working on collecting the whole series. I've got a little bit over half of them right now including the first issues.
